Kym Wilson – Regen Advisor
As an Agroecologist and Regenerative Agriculture Coach Kym has worked over the last 6 years with farmers and landowners from all industries. Her passion for the environment and threatened ecosystem restoration fuels her outlook. She sees carbon farming as a vehicle that allows farmers to breathing room to steward their land in the way that makes them happy and provides choices. A win for the environment, and a win for farmers.
Shane Gregg – Farmer
Shane is 3rd generation farmer and key farmer voice in the team. His organically certified grazing property has recently embarked on a soil carbon project utilising the livestock to grow the carbon stocks. He is passionate about Holistic Grazing and a strong advocate for the rights of farmers.
Ian Perkins – Chair/Farmer
Ian has been an educator and consultant in the agricultural industry for decades and has a passion for biodiversity. His farm near Willson’s Downfall is a hotspot for threatened species and a prime example of working with nature. Ian loves to work with his cattle using his horses and experience nature. As chair of our working team he helps to provide direction and clarification.
John Dean – Treasurer/Farmer
John’s family have been farming in the Tenterfield region for generations and still own the original Tenterfield Station. John’s expertise in financial management made him the perfect fit for the treasurers role.
Justin Everbloom – Marketing/Farmer
Justin is 4th generation farmer also in the Maryland district. His passion for nature and beauty led him and his family to develop an organic flower farm supplying fresh cut flowers, tuber stock and other items into the Brisbane Market. Justin has a background in graphic design.
Andrew Ward – Regen Farmers Mutual CEO & Facilitator
Having grown up on the family farm outside Moree NSW Andrew and his family were early pioneers in Holistic Management in Australia. He understands deeply what it is to be a farmer in the 21st Century and has used his experiences to develop a business that has farmers at its heart. Regen Farmers Mutual is owned and driven by farmers for farmers. Andrew facilitates landscape impact programs with groups of farmers across the country meaning he is deeply connected both to the land and its stewards.
